David is the principal and founder of Hong Kong based New Wave Capital. New Wave Capital provides Investment Banking and Fund Management services focused on China and Australia. He has more than 20 years of senior management experience in a number of sectors, including banking, IT&C, digital media and transport.
He has successfully launched and transacted funding requirements for large infrastructure projects, IT&C, digital media, security, property and transport companies in the Asia Pacific region.
Additionally David has secured capital funding for expansion whilst previously serving in executive and non-executive roles with leading IT & T, media and Transport companies in Asia Pacific.
David has a Bachelor of Commerce from Canberra University and is a qualified CPA. He is a board member of a number of private companies including, Interbet Pty Ltd, First Wave Pty Ltd, Umatilla Ltd and xNetworks Pty Ltd.
Swayne is an entrepreneurial tech exec with a passion for getting things done – no excuses. Currently Swayne advises several technology startups trying to figure out the best approach to positioning, pricing, selling and scaling.
Most recently, Swayne built the sales team that led Mintigo‘s initial growth to $5M as they captured a leadership role in Predictive Marketing.
In 2007, Swayne co-founded Cloud9 with the goal to serve front-line business people directly and loosen the death-grip IT has on business intelligence deployments. Under his leadership, Cloud9 attracted over $30M in venture funding from top-tier Silicon Valley investors – Mayfield Fund, Interwest Partners and Leapfrog. Cloud9 has become a leading Sales Business Intelligence solution, serving Pandora, ADP, LinkedIn, DocuSign, EMC and many more.
Earlier in his career, Swayne spent 13 years with Cognos building and running sales teams around the world as the company grew from $50M to almost $1B in revenue before being acquired by IBM.
Socrates is a strategy consultant and C-Suite executive with 20 years’ combined experience in corporate strategy and corporate development, underpinned by 15 years’ transactional experience gained in investment banking.
Socrates is the principal at Hamilton Partners and provides advice and services related to strategy, corporate development, commercial growth, M&A, investment advisory, interim CFO services, financial modelling, business planning, product development and financing alternatives for early – mid-stage growth organisations.
Beginning as a proprietor of a Pizzeria at the age of 20 right through to his current role’s in entrepreneurial leadership and mentoring, Constantine discovered Innovation Culture, a cultural architecture for 21st Century businesses that out perform by out executing. Having lived through multiple business inflection points including exits and his 12 years of coaching he brings a unique approach to business transformation.
With a 20 year history in technology, sales and leadership he discovered a gap in the market for a management consultancy (Velteo) that integrated People with Process and Technology and partnered with cloud and mobile technologies that would transform Australian Enterprises. Velteo’s high performance culture was recognised as second to none and was the critical element to its success and eventual exit to a New York Based competitor.
Constantine now spends majority of his time investing in new start-ups, mentoring entrepreneurs and working on transforming businesses through digital and cultural initiatives. His recent venture, CoEquity is the winning venture from the Investible Business Generation Lab Competition that promises to transform how businesses maximise their value and exits by implementing his exit science model.
